Frankie is responsible for Data Capability who ensure ONS has the technology, data, innovative techniques and supporting statistical methods to enable the production of insight, statistics and analysis to a wide range of users. Frankie is leading the digital and data transformation to allow us to collect, securely store and analyse data from new sources as well as building innovation within ONS through the use of data science and new techniques such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning whilst helping to build data science capability across Government. She champions openness and data sharing for the public good in ONS and beyond. Frankie joined the ONS in January 2010 as Head of IT Project Delivery. Since then, she has held several senior roles in ONS, including leading the transformation of ONS economic and population and public policy statistics and taking a leading role on preparations for Census 2021.
