Allison joined HM Land Registry in 1989. Following a period of working on a wide range of Land Registry casework, Allison moved to Head Office in 2002. Working in Public Affairs and Product Development she worked with ministers and project-managed a range of commercial products and services.
Six years ago, Allison developed the change to policy for Local Land Charges, leading the change through Parliament. In 2017 she became the Service Manager for the build of the local land charges register, a new digital service for HM Land Registry ultimately leading to becoming the Head of the Local Land Charges Programme in 2018. The service became live on 11th July 2018 with Warwick District Council and continues to grow.
